I offer classes in Pilates which centres on core strength. This form of exercise can go hand in hand with other sports or types of exercise, or it can be done as a sole focus. My classes offer a balanced approached to working out the body so you'll be able to feel the benefits in no time at all! 

You don't need to have done Pilates before to come and try it at any age. Exercises are gentle and can be built up to suit general through to advance level at any given time. When you get in touch with me, please let me know a little more about your requirements so I can suggest the best way forwards for your body.

Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates in late 1800's in Germany. He was a sickly child and dedicated his entire life to improving his core strength. Pilates came to England in 1912, developing the practise until it become popular amongst elite ballet and contemporary dancers in the UK and US to maintain/prevent injuries and streamline physics. By the 1970's Pilates entered the mainstream and has grown in popularity ever since. 

Pilates today is enjoyed by millions of people worldwide and can be adapted to every aspect of your life including pregnancy, sport, injury and general well being. 

"I'm fifty years ahead of my time," Joseph once claimed. 

He was right.
